1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using CCL Japanese Practice by comoca ("the Service"), operated by comoca ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CCL Japanese Practice by comoca is an independent online study platform for NAATI CCL preparation, designed to help Japanese speakers practise community language interpreting skills. The platform provides interactive dialogue practice, vocabulary tools, and progress tracking, accessible at ccl.comoca.com.au.
Important: NAATI is a registered trade mark of the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters. CCL Japanese Practice by comoca is an independent study and practice platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by NAATI.
3. User Accounts
To access the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use the Service.
Each account is for use by one individual only. You must not share, sell, transfer, or allow another person to use your account. We may monitor account activity to detect misuse, including excessive simultaneous logins, unusual access patterns, or suspected credential sharing. Accounts found to be shared may be suspended or terminated without notice or refund.
4. Access Plans and Payments
We offer the following access plans (prices in AUD):
- Free Trial: Access to up to 5 practice questions, no credit card required
- 1 Month: $38 AUD
- 3 Months: $88 AUD
- 6 Months: $128 AUD
- 12 Months: $198 AUD
Our paid plans provide access for a fixed period selected at the time of purchase. Unless clearly stated at checkout, plans do not automatically renew. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Fees are charged at the time of purchase.
5. Refund Policy
Except where required under the Australian Consumer Law, we generally do not provide refunds for change of mind, failure to use the Service, or circumstances outside our control. This does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. For refund enquiries, please contact us at ccl@comoca.com.au.
6. Content and Features
We may add, remove, update, or modify practice questions, dialogues, vocabulary, audio, features, and other content at any time. We do not guarantee that any specific content or feature will remain available throughout your access period. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes where practicable.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. We may suspend, restrict, or modify the Service from time to time for maintenance, updates, security, or operational reasons. We will not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
All content available through the Service, including but not limited to practice dialogues, vocabulary lists, audio recordings, and educational materials, is owned by comoca or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.
Your use of the Service is for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Sharing, reselling, or distributing access to the Service or its content is strictly prohibited.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Copy, scrape, or extract content from the Service by automated means
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to infringe upon the rights of others
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided for educational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date content for NAATI CCL preparation, we do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in passing the NAATI CCL test. Results may vary depending on individual effort, prior knowledge, and other factors beyond our control.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, comoca shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at ccl@comoca.com.au.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania, Australia.
